Who we are
BozAds is a trading name of Semir Kahrimanovic, sole trader, Grays, Essex, England. Semir Kahrimanovic is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Contact: semir@bozmaps.com.
What we collect and why
Contact form. When you send a message through the form on our homepage we collect your name, email address, the company or website you enter, the service and budget you pick, and your message. We use this only to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal.
Free SEO checker. When you run a check we receive the website address you enter and fetch that site's public pages to score them. If you then ask for a quote we collect your name and email address along with a short summary of the results, so we can reply with a price.
Client portal. If you are a client, the portal processes your login email address, the content and files you upload, and the plans and reports we share with you. This is processed under the client agreement between us, to deliver the services you have engaged us for.
Private plan links. A plan link (/plan?id=...) shows one client's plan to anyone who holds the link. We do not collect personal data from readers of a plan page beyond the analytics described below.
Lawful basis
- Legitimate interest (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) for handling business enquiries and quote requests. Replying to a message you sent us is what you would reasonably expect, and it has minimal impact on your privacy.
- Contract (Article 6(1)(b)) for portal data and anything else needed to deliver services to clients.
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) where we must keep records, for example invoices for tax purposes.
Where your data is stored
Enquiries, quote requests and portal data are stored with Supabase in the eu-west-1 region (Ireland). The website itself is hosted by Vercel. Email replies are sent from a Google Workspace mailbox. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own data processing terms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and quote requests are kept for 24 months from the date you sent them, then deleted. Client portal data is kept for the duration of the client agreement and for 24 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we are required to keep it for longer (for example, invoices).
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool that we host ourselves. It records page views and general device and country information without cookies, without fingerprinting and without storing your IP address. We also use Vercel Speed Insights, which measures page load performance and does not use cookies or identify individual visitors.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers. It is shared only with the service providers named above so that they can host and deliver our services, and with authorities where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access);
- have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
- have your data deleted (erasure);
- restrict or object to how we process it;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where consent is the basis we rely on.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
